I am looking for descendants and/or information on the family of Alfred and Mary Elliott who lived in Jackson Twp. in 1870. They had children: Hannah (b abt 1852), Mariah (b abt 1854), Rob H. (b abt 1856), Sarah C. (b abt 1861), and Jonas E. (b abt 1864). I have found Robert Elliott who married Sarah Markins (in 1880 census for Harrison Twp.). I am really interested in finding out if Alfred is the brother to my Horace/Harris Elliott who came from Albemarle county, Virginia with his parents William Elliott and Mary Hall. I have looked throughout Ohio and can't find Alfred anwhere after the 1860 census. Lo and behold, I think I have found him in Indiana in 1870. If anyone knows of this family or descendants, please get in touch with me. Thanks.
