I am trying to find out who exactly Jerome Taylor is. He was born April 23, 1889 in Boone County, IN. He came to the Jonas Byrket family when he was about 2yrs old (according to Jonas' obituary). He was a foster son to them. He married Mayme ? and they moved to California. He died in 1981 at the age of 91. He had one son Robert. I am hoping someone will know who his parents are. In the map of 1878 Boone County, there are two Taylors that live next to the Noah Byrket farm and the John Shelburne farm. Just want to know why they took him in.
