I'm looking for descendants of Samuel Brown b) 1845 in Mitcheltree, Martin, Indiana. His wife was Cinderella (Lousinda) Haskins b) 27 Sep 1842 in Rutherford, Martin, Indiana. They had 6 children. Clara Brown b) 24 Mar 1868 Rutherford, Martin, Indiana, William Brown b) 1869 Shoals, Martin, Indiana, Alvoard Brown b) 1870 Shoals, Indiana, Mary Laaura Elizabeth Brown b) 15 Mar 1872 Loogootee, Martin, Indiana (my great-grandmother), Dulsfie Brown b) 1874 Washington, Davies, Indiana, & George Washington Brown b) 18 feb 1880 in Decker, Knox, Indiana. From what I can tell the only children who may have descendants are Clara, Mary, and George.
Samuel Brown's father was George Best Brown b) 1799 in Russell county, Virginia. Children of George Best Brown were John W, Elizabeth, George W, Mary, Sarah, Ruth, Truelove, James P, Martha, Squire, David, and Samuel Brown.
Truelove the brother of Samuel was the first inspector of the new township of Brown 1841 with George Best Brown as the overseers of the poor.
