Looking for information on JACOB LYON and his descendants.
JACOB was the sone of JOHN N and JEMIMA (Redenbaugh) LYON.
JACOB was born about 1839 in Miami county, Ohio. In 1864 he married EMMA ALICE EUDSON in Cass county,Indiana. The 1870 census shows Jacob and family back in Miami county, Ohio. By 1880, they have returned to Tipton township, Cass county, Indiana.
The 1880 census shows 5 children:
Mary A - born about 1866
Marguritta (spelling uncertain) - born about 1869
Charles W - born about 1870
John N - born about 1872 (deaf and dumb)
Wilbur A - born about 1875
I do not know if JACOB remainined in Cass county, or where he died. I am looking for more information on his descendants (and his ancestors).
JACOB is the brother of my gt grandfather WILLIAM D LYON.
