Charles Porter Howard, b May 1868, Vermilion Co., IL, d 1-30-1948, Permu, IN or near Walton, IN; m. 3-6-1889 in Cass Co., IN Melissa Snell, d/o Henry R. Snell and Phoebe/Phebe Ann Blinn. Melissa b. 12-2-1869, Cass Co., IN; d Dec. 14, 1944, near New Waverly, IN.

I have a copy of the "Logansport Pharos Tribune," 3-9-1939 article abt their golden anniversary.

Is this the same Charles P. Howard to which you have reference? The above Charles P. Howard was the son of John Walker Howard.
