Seeking information about Samuel Tilford of Clark County, Indiana. His name appears in a list of members of “old Silver Creek Church” along with that of Absalom Littell. Samuel apparently joined between 1816 and 1825. A history of the Littell family states that Samuel was the second husband of Absalom Littell’s daughter, Anna, whose name appears along with Samuel’s as Charter Members of the Sellersburg Church of Christ, established July 1832. I find no other trace of Samuel or Anna. (The Samuel Tilford of Jefferson Co listed in the Indiana Census for 1820 is a different person.)
