William Nicholson and Margarette Wilson took out a license on April 7, 1818 in Clark County, Indiana. It doesn't appear that the license was "returned" or "recorded" by the Justice of Peace or minister who married them. Technically, they weren't married, but there are a lot of marriages like this in Indiana - where there is only a "license". Unfortunately, this may be all you have unless there was a newspaper article giving the date of their marriage (doubtful in 1818). Email me if you want a copy of their "license".
