Does anyone know anything about the two MOSES EKERT (ECKARDs) that are on the
Washington Twp., Clay County, Indiana 1850 census?
NOTE: They appear to be neighbors with only 3 households separating them.

Also on the same census is:
Armstrong Eckerd , age 21 born IN, (this is Moses Armstrong ECKARD)
Mickey (Micca), age 19 born IN (this is Micca Tribble, Trible)
I believe from information I have seen that (#2) Moses Ekert may be the father of:
Armstrong Eckard and Elijah J. (Ekert) Eckard
both of which are in Clay County, IN in 1850
and that his wife was Sarah Killion (Sarah Elizabeth perhaps?)
children of Moses and Sarah are:
Elijah Jefferson Eckard b. 1818 IN
Frederick K. Eckard b. 1824 IN
Moses Armstrong Eckard b. 1828 IN
Jacob Eckard b. 1844 IN
Frances E. Eckard b. 1850 IN
Two other possible children are:
John Wesley Eckard b. 1830 IN
Harvey G. Eckard b. 1834 IL
Based on other census information it appears that Moses Armstrong Eckard, John Wesley Eckard
and Harvey G. Eckard are probably brothers.
I would enjoy hearing from others that have an interest in these families.
