According the family Bible, John Tewell m. Hannah 17 Apr 1839 in Clay County, Indiana. This makes no sense since they were living in Clermont Co. OH at the time with John b. Mason Co. KY and Hannah OH. A few years after this, they moved to Jefferson Co. IN to live, a long ways from Clay Co. IN but this is what the Bible entry reads. Appreciate it if someone could check this date in marriage records and see if there was such a marriage there. Wanting Hannah's maiden name. Thanks!
