Searching for anyone who has done research, or has knowledge, of the MEIRING family in Indiana. Three MEIRING boys moved to Indiana from Ohio with their mother and stepfather in 1879. They settled in Howard, Clay, Cass, and Marion counties. I am their first cousin twice removed. Other surnames associated with the descendants of these three MEIRING men are: GEISLER, GRAHMANN, CUNNINGHAM, SCHREPFERMAN, PEARCE, BAER,WEAVER, HOWARD, ELLIS, METZ, PARKER, BILLBURG, FRANCIS, TYGART, PATTERSON, WINTON, BOVSUM, BOTTOMS, VANHORN, UPTON, HAMRICK.
