George Myrick (13 July 1844-17 Jun 1907) and Mary A. Myrick (30 Jan 1846-12 Nov 1929) immigrated to the US ~1868 from England (Wales) and Naturalized ~1875. Mary A. Myrick death was survived by six sons and three daughters: Joseph, William, George, and Thomas (All of Terre Haute), John (of New Mexico), and Harry of (Monroe, Michigan), Mrs. E.B. Morris (of Canada), Mrs. Helen Lawson (of Terre Haute), and Mrs. Orilla Hall (of Monroe, Michigan)
George R. Myrick, son of George Myrick and Mary A. Myrick, was born in 1878 in Indiana and died in 1967. He married Rose Bell (Early) Myrick on December 22, 1904 in Clay County. Rose Bell (Early) Myrick (Rosa Early, Rose Bell, Rosie B Myrick, Earley) is estimated to be born in 1887 in Indiana. Her parents were both born in Kentucky. Children of Rose Bell (Early) Myrick & George R. Myrick were Thelma O Myrick, Floyd A Myrick, and Earl. Earl died about ten years of age.
Harry Myrick was born on 09/06/1886 in Knightsville, IN. He died about 1968. he was a coal miner. Harry Myrick married Lola Brill 07/08/1908 in Clay County, Indiana. Harry and Lola had the following children: Priscilla Myrick (Married a Creasy), Warren Myrick, and Maxine Myrick.
Helen (Myrick) Lawson was married to Clem Lawson. They lived in Marshal, Indiana. Orilla (Myrick) Hall married Roy Hall.
Thelma Orilla (Myrick) Rogers, daughter of George R. Myrick and Rose Bell (Early) Myrick, was born around 1908. She married Adelbert (Delbert) Clifton Rogers (b:07/26/1906-d:04/1973) and adopted only son Robert James Rogers (Bobby) (My father).
Floyd (Flloyd) A. Myrick, son of George R. Myrick and Rose Bell (Early) Myrick, died at age 56. Survived by widow, Catherine (Paddock?), a son, Larry Myrick, a sister, Thelma, Terre Haute, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. (Blache?) Paddock, Terre Haute, and one nephew.
I have many old photographs, some with unknown people. I would love to verify and trade photos with someone.
