I am hoping someone can help me out here. Trying to find where my ancestor George Henry Clark(e) is buried. He came over from Ireland, settled in Dearborn county, but a couple of his children are listed as being buried at "Clark Cemetery, Manson, IN." I did a google search, but could find no such cemetery. Do you have any idea of where it may be? Here are the specific names: George Henry Clarke married [date not available] Jane Mercer [b. 1760, Berkeley County, Virginia –now West Virginia; d. before 1850 in Dearborn County, Indiana] daughter of Edward Mercer. They had 11 children: 2 Children of George Henry Clarke and Jane Mercer : 2iv. Rachel Clark [b. May 25, 1791 in Frederick Co., Virginia; d. March 1, 1866 in Clinton County, Indiana ] married [March 11, 1812 in Winchester, Virginia] Joseph Everett Milburn [b. February 21, 1792, Frederick Co., Virginia; d. 1840, Clinton County, Indiana]. They had at least one child, Joseph E. Milborn [b. January 25, 1827; d. 1840]. Both are buried at the Clark cemetery in Manson, Indiana. 2v. Mary Clark [b. ABT 1792; d. unknown in Aurora, Dearborn County, Indiana ] married Nathan Milburn [d. unknown] I notice that Rachel Clark, who was married to a Milburn, is listed as buried at "Clark Cemetery." I am hoping to find, or hoping to learn that George Henry Clark and Jane Mecer Clark came to Manson before the died, and the cemetery was named after them. It obviously wasn't named after Rachel... Thanks so much for any help or assistance you may be able to give! Jon Clark Grant County, IN Notify Administrator about this message?
