I'm searching for birthplace of Jerusha Bickley-nee Templeton-(3/26/1793-9/27/1852). I recently came across an Ancestry.com family tree which showed her birthplace as SC. Her parents Thos. Templeton & Mary Wigfield were married 6/23/1792 in Surry Co, NC & show up next in Russell (present day Scott) Co, VA in 1801.
I'm hoping this "SC" clue might help me trace Jerusha's parents migratory path from NC to SW VA.
Any help from Bickley descendants or someone with access to Clinton Co. census records would be appreciated.
