Does anyone have information regarding these families? Looking for pictures and stories about them.
Marion B. Dunbar b. 1840 son of Lewis Dunbar who moved to Montgomery Co. IN. Marion married Amanda Stook dtr of Samuel A. Stook (Stuck) and Ann Catherine Sharpnack.
John William "Jack" Dunbar b. 28JAN1863, my father, pioneered the automobile in Colfax, IN before the turn of the century. His bio is written in the 1913 History of Clinton Co. by Hon. Judge Claybaugh. "Jack" first m. Ida Blacker of Colfax. His second m. was to my mother, Josephine A. Clouser, of Montgomery Co. IN.
In 1933 they lived at Dunbar Park 3 miles west of Thorntown.
I was born there. Colfax is about 5 miles away.
