Thank you very much for the information. It appears that the Totten family I was looking for is the one listed on the 1870 census in Pike County IN. It's really strange to me to see 2 William and Eliza Tottens within 2 years of age of each other and from KY and VA respectfully. I'm new at this, and it really confuses me on what to do next. I had earlier received a reply from the "Totten" message board telling me Hannah was from Crawford Co, but this doesn't seem to match the 1850 and 1870 census'. Thanks for you help!
