The 1840 Crawford census lists William GOOD and GABRIAL GOODE.
The 1830 census has Gabriel GOOD, "Haly" GOOD and William GOOD.
All three of these are "GOAD". Gabriel was the father of William and Haley.
William married Elizabeth Davis anbd Haley's wife was Susan Peckinpaugh. Their children married Sprinkle, Land, Riddle, many others as they had about twenty children beteween them.
Gabriel was a first cousin to Gen. John Sevier, first governor of Tennessee as his father John and John Sevier's mother Johannah (Goad) Sevier were siblings.
They (Goad and Sevier families) lived in the Watauga settlement of East Tenn. ca 1782-1790 before Tennessee was a state.
