I am very interested in your work on this family and would like to know more about it, and where I might find a copy of your book. Also, I wonder if you have more information about the following people.

In the 1850 Crawford County census, John U./W./M.? Williams and wife Mary (Goad?) Williams are neighbors of their related Peckinpaughs, as you have mentioned; but in 1860 their household includes John M. and Rebecca Smallwood, ages 27 and 25, whose children are Sarah J. (my great-grandmother), Elizabeth and Mary, ages 4, 2 and one month.

Do you know if there is a relationship between Rebecca Smallwood and the Goads? Or is John Smallwood somehow related? Are either of them related to the Williams line? Or is there another link I have not found?

I will appreciate any help you might offer in learning more about John M. and Rebecca Smallwood, and about their origins. I have not found where they were buried, or who their parents were.

Thanks for having shared your work here where everyone can learn from it. I look forward to reading more about the Goads and their related families.
