Any connections?
Pop told me that his ancestors landed in New Orleans from County Tipperary, Ireland. I don't know if this was true, but my great great grandfather was James SAUSE from Co Tipperary married to Elenor STOKES.
They had several children, and were in Daviess County, Indiana, USA by about 1837. Their son Michael SAUSE was my great grandfather and he married Margaret DOWNEY. Michael's son, Matthew Marcellus SAUSE and Mary Margaret BRADLEY, from DCI were my grandparents. They married in DCI in 1900.
My parents married in KCMO in 1947. Mom was a RANEY, her parents and ancestors were from Martin Co, IN.
