Sorry for the late reply.

I have a Frances Hendricks, born about 1820 in Indiana, who married Edmund McKee in Ripley County in 1837. In 1850 she is living in Muscatine County, Iowa, with her (apparent) mother in residence, a Mary born abt 1780 in Pennsylvania. My notes show an Indiana-origin "Hendrits" family nearby. Perhaps this will help a little, with Frances perhaps an aunt of your ancestor Richard?
