Sylvanus & Nancy lived in Clinton Co., IN & Tippecanoe Co., IN before moving to Cooper Co., MO after the Civil War.

Park Cemetery, Carthage, Jasper Co., MO, was married 18 Oct 1850 in Circuit Court, Clinton Co., IN to Sylvanus' brother, William C.
