I tried to contact you but you have differnt e-mail and the Decatur Co. web page doesn't have accurate ways to contact people.
I have Erby's death cert. with Reasonable Reed as Father and Evelyn Styers as Mother.
In History of Decatur Co.by Lewis A Harding 1915 there is the bio. of Erby's son George N. Reed. In that bio. it lists Reasonable Reed as Erbys Father with no mention of Mother. There is ties of both the Neff Family and the Wright Family to my Reed/Devine Family. George N. partnered with George T. Reed an Uncle in a Livery Stable in Adams. My GG Grand mother Evaline Reed Devine had a brother George T. George T. is buried in Indianapolis
with my Family and shared a lot with a C.C. Wright.
Erby is said to have been born near North Vernon in
Jennings Co. just about the time my Reeds were there in 1840s' I believe Reasons' wife Catharine Sturges Reed died
between 1860 and 1870 in Decatur Co. That Reason remarried and this Evelyn raised the younger Reed children of Reasons. There just seems to be many simularities here.
I have visited Erbys' grave.
I just wish someone knew were Reason is buried.
