Thorpe, Whicker, Fought families Butler and Auburn areas

I am researching the families of Dudley Thorpe, Clarissa Thorpe Whicker and Mary "Polly" (Hand Vandolah Whicker) Fought {she was married three times}.

Dudley Thorpe (@1800) was married to Angelina Eggelson/Eggleson sp? and they had a few children, one for certain was Clarissa (1827 - 1899). Clarissa's mother, Angelina, passed away in Ohio, we believe, and Dudley moved himself and chidlren to Dekalb County, either Butler or Auburn, Indiana. He appears in the 1840 census as Dudley Sharp.

In the same census the Thorpe family live down the way from Mary Wicher, also spelled wrong, her name is Whicker. Her two sons are with her, William Jr, and Stephen. Her children from her first marriage also live down the way in this very same census, Vandolah. Clarissa Thorpe and Mary's son, William Whicker Jr., marry in the mid 1840's. Mary also marrys to Samuel Fought in 1841.

Dudley Thorpe, Mary and Samuel Fought drop of the face of the earth from here. I can not find anything more about them. I would love help on that.

Mary's second husband, William Whicker Senior, also disappears. I don't know if they were married when they came to Indiana, although William Jr.'s obituary states they may have. So they divorced prior to 1840's anyway.

I do not know where Angelina Eggelson/Eggleson Thorpe died for certain, would love to know that.

Any help on this family would be greatly appreciated.
