Joseph West and wife Joanna Smith with family came to Dekalb County, Butler Township in 1832. Joseph had married Betsy Allen in 1819 producing one son, George Simeon West b. 7-1-1820, who married Hannah Surfas 10-14-1845.
Joseph married Joanna Smith 9-12-1822, producing 7 children:
Eliza Smith West b. 10-22-1825 m. William Whetsel, 1-27-1848.
Fisher Curtis West b. 9-17-1827 m. Columbia Ann Wheeler 1859.
Elizabeth Ann West b. 6-23-1832 m. Joseph Crates, 3-28, 1858.
Eytchie Cornelia West b. 3-27-1836, m. Commodore Perry Wheeler, 11-3-1854.
Ira Allen West b. 7-13-1838 m. Rosina Elizabeth Gillett, 12-1-1863.
Lois Grace West b. 6-6-1840 m. Peter Ditmars 1-6-1870.
Susan G. West b. 1844. Other than living with Joanna and Lois Ditmars, I have no other information on Susan.
Joseph died 4-30-1846. Joanna 1879. Buried Cedar Chapel cemetery.

I am the direct descendent of the Ira/Rosina West line. I would like to have any information on parents of Joseph, Joanna, and Betsy. Would like to know what happended to Elizabeth Ann West and Joseph Crates, since they have disappeared from any census.
