I am looking for the family of Martin for a dear friend of mine. He was born in abt 1833 in PA, according to census He married (not in DeKalb co) in 1860, served in the Civil war, lived in Auburn in 1870 and 1880... I can not find anything about him either before marriage or after 1880 census. His widow, Mary, later collected on his Civil war pension. I suspect he may have died prior to 1900, but where and when is unknown. I have looked in all cemetery and death lists I can find. Can anyone help point me to additional info for him/family? I know what happened to most of his children, but know nothing re. sibling, parents.
