Milton Truitt was born in about 1828-29 in Ohio.
He married Louisa Smith on April 12, 1849, in Delaware County, IN.
Louisa died on March 14, 1898. Milton died on September 2, 1886. They are buried at the Beech Grove Cemetery in Delaware County.
So why aren't they listed in Delaware County, IN, on the 1880 census?
Is their son, Jeremiah Truitt, the only one that got married?
More information on this family would be greatly appreciated.
