Lodiss (sic) Preston married John Wood on February 24, 1850, in Delaware County, IN. (Delaware County Marriage Index C2-404)
Lodicia (sic) Wood, age 34 (born 1816?), was listed as the wife of John Wood on the September 10, 1850 census in Monroe Township, Randolph County, IN.
Lodiga Wood, wife of John Wood, died on February 2, 1853, at the age of "31 years, seven months, and 2 days".
I believe that this is the same person & there was an error in the transcription and she was "37 years old" since she was "34 in 1850".
She was buried with John and Harriet Preston. I appears that John Smith purchased seven grave sites. Lodiga, John, and five of John and Harriet's children are buried there.
Thus, since Harriet was the last to be interred, and all seven graves were occupied, Harriet is buried with John.
Does anyone know if Lodiga and John Wood had children?
