John "Phineas" Preston was born in October 1819 "in Ohio.
In 1850 "Phineas" was found in the household of John Wood in Monroe Township, Randolph County, IN. John Wood married Lodiss (sic) Preston. So could Phineas be her brother?
John Smith married Harriet Preston. Hannah Preston married Thomas Whitney. Serepta Preston married Lewis Smith.
Hannah, Harriet & Serepta had a grandmother, Artimesa Preston.
Phineas named a daughter, Artimissa Preston. Could that be an indication that he was the brother of Hannah, Harriet, Serepta, and Lodiss/Lodiga Preston?
