Nancy - There is more than one Zachariah Dillon. Zachariah Dillon (b. 14 Apr. 1802 in Tyrrell County, NC) also had a son Zachariah, who may be the one you refer to. I don't have that much info about your Zachariah,(if he is the son, but it sounds like he may be, many of the Dillon family I refer to are buried at Shiloh), but I have info regarding Zachariah the father. He was married to Nancy Ann Williams (b. 13 Aug 1806 of Mercer county KY) This Zach is buried in the Alexander Graveyard in Ireland, IN. He was the son of Benjamin Dillon (b. abt. 1750 in Tyrrell County and d. aft. Oct. 11, 1807)and Charlotte Hunnings (b. 24 Apr. 1799 in Tyrrell County NC and d. 17 March 1856 in Dubois County IN). Benjamin was a Revolutionary War soldier, and it is said that Charlotte was his second wife. Charlotte remarried after Benjamin's death, to Isaac Alexander, with whom she had two more children. They moved the family to Indiana. I have much more information, so if you are interested feel free to email me. I would like to figure out if these two are connected, and get whatever info you have. Do you descend from Zachariah the son? Thanks - Carla
