I have searched and searched for Alfred Wolfe b. abt 1860 Lawrence Co. Ohio, (brother to my William
Henry Wolfe) and I think I found him in 1880 Jackosn Twp, Dubois Co. Indiana. He is living with Henry
Helverson and Wife Elizabeth. I believe Elizabeth is widow of William M. Wolfe. William & Elizabeth were
married 1846 in Lawrence Co. Ohio. It is thought that after 1860 my Wolfe's moved to Indiana possibly
Harrison Co. but not sure which county.
Henry Alverson age 64 farmer b. Va F, Va M. Va (b. 1816)
Elizabeth age 52 b. Oh F. Va M. Va. (b.1828)
Alfred Wolfe stepson age 20 b. Oh
Calvin Wolfe stepson age 17 b. Oh
Mary Wolfe stepdau age 14 b. Oh
There is a Henry Helverson in Lawrence Co. Ohio, married 7-31-1834 to Peninah Beller. This would have
made him 18 years old.I wonder if this is same Henry Helverson mentioned above? Is this Henry Helverson
second husband of Elizabeth Griffith Wolfe? Any information on any of these people appreciated. Thanks
