Hello I am in hopes that someone has information on these folks they are my 3rd Great Grandparents.
They moved from Knox county TN.to Dubois county IN. in 1844 or 1847 bought a farm 10 miles South of Lagootee 4 miles from Allfordsville.They had many children Nancy Margaret McFerrin, Elizabeth Jane (Betsy) McFerrin, Suffa McFerrin,Charlotte McFerrin, William Adkins McFerrin, Samuel McFerrin, Henry McFerrin, Parley E.McFerrin, and
Adeline McFerrin.Some of these children may have been born in Indiana . From a history book of Page county Iowa of 1890 the record says James spent the rest of his days on his farm.Record says he was an Methodist and a Republican.Fathers name Samuel A. McFerrin
I hope to find out where He and his Wife are buried and any dates,cemetery,etc Please help
