Eli Thomas married Jane Bell Anderson in DuBois 1823

I have been told that Eli Thomas married Jane Bell Anderson in DuBois County, IN in 1823. Would anyone know if Jane Bell Anderson had been married previously? Is her maiden name Bell? I realize it could be a middle name, but it is Eli's second marriage so I thought perhaps it would be her second marriage.
