I am looking for more information any connections to the
William,Mirilda & Charlotte A.Rogers,found on census
chart page 54,1870 U.S.census,Elkhart,Elkhart co.,In.
I have a copy of the census page but would like to know
if there is some connection to this couple and the families of this area.
I believe they are one and the same couple that were
Married on the 10th of Nov.,1865,at Branch co.,Mi.
I also believe that the Charlotte A. listed in the census
to be the Charlotte Alice Rogers who was born 1862 at
Battle Creek,Calhoun Co.,Mi.
and it was her that married John C.Brown,b.1841,Prussia.
Married 7th of Oct.,1878,Quimby,Barry Co.,Mi.at the
M. & E. Church.
John & Charlotte only had one child,Gertrude Viola Brown
b.22 Oct.,1879 at:Hastings,Barry Co.,Mi.
she married 1St.Daniel Lorch,in Grand Rapids,Mi.,
she 2Nd.Married George A. Standish,1903,Allegan Co.,Mi.
Geo & Gertrude are my Great Grandparents.
Any information that connects the Rogers or Brown families
would be of great help to me.
I've been working on this mystery for over 30 years.
