Hi, I wonder if your history of Fayette Co has anything concerning a smallpox outbreak in Fayette between 1853 and 1860.

I have been trying to track my McHenry family whose parents died of smallpox between those dates. I have recently found a James McHenry who may be thier father who lived in Fayette in 1850. In the same county there was also a Peter and a John. Do you have listed decsendants of any of these people or dates on them. Anything that might confirm or disprove that this family is not related to me.

Any information on the family might be helpful.
Thank you, Pat
