This book has a lot of Minick genealogy. Rutherford is listed as 9th generation. His birthdate was Feb 6, 1877. His parents were Samual (b Sept 24, 1853) and Sarah A. S. Minick (b. Nov 14, 1853.

This book is listed at Heritage Quest. You library might possibly have Heritage Quest where you could go look it up. Unfortunately, it is written in such a way that I can't copy it. Apparently the Boords and Minicks lived in Fountain Co for a very long time.
