In 1880 census Union, Fulton Co., IN., Wm Myers age 38 born IN and wife Sarah age 38 born PA, children: Cora age 7 and Frank age 6 both born IN. Also stepdaughters Ida Carter age 18 and Belle Carter age 16, both born IN. Was Sarah married before William Myers and have daughters Ida and Belle. In 1870 in Shelby Co., IN., Landon Carter and wife Nancy are listed with daughters Ida b. @1857 and Bell b.@ 1859.But when Landon dies in September of 1870, these girls are not listed as minor heirs with his other three children.
In the 1880 census there are not other Ida or Bell Carters in Shelby co., In, but there are marriages for a Bell and Ida Carter after 1880. Any help appreciated.
