Amanda Ellen Smith was m. to #1 William James Darnall on Jan. 10, 1870 in Washington Twp., Logan County, OH. They were on the 1870 census for same place. He died April 7, 1880. Amanda shows up on the 1880 census with son James in Benton Co., IN. (She supposedly had two infants which died).
Then she m. Thomas Vanover (2nd m. for him too) June 14, 1881 in Vermilion Co., IL. They had 5 children and then Thomas d. May 16, 1900.
The obit I have is from a family journal in which Amanda is said to be buried in the Geetingsville Cemetery.
