Francis Smith and his wife, Massa, came to Indiana from Clinton Co. Ohio in the late 1830s. They first were in Delaware county and later to Grant county, where they are buried in Thrailkill cemetery.
I descend from their daughter, Lydia, who married Washington Harrison Thompson in Clinton Co. Ohio in 1836. There were many children including my Lydia and her brother David. Probably Francis and George were sons also.
