Most of my Shoptaw family members are from Kentucky, but there were a few that went to Greene County Indiana.
I heard that at least one of my 4th great grandfathers brothers went to Indiana.
My 4th great grandfather was William Shoptaw of Bullitt County Ky born there 1810.
His brother and sisters were;
John Shoptaw 3rd
Thomas Shoptaw married Rachel Welch
Erasmus married 1st Lena Hamilton and 2nd Jane McDaniel
Sophy Shoptaw married John Harshfield
Henry Shoptaw married Ruth Collins
James Shoptaw
Elender Shoptaw married David Harshfield
