I am trying to find any information regarding Gaetano Ponti, his wife Margaret Nelson, and children - Robert (Giovanni), Grace and Gaetano, poss. jr.
Margaret died in Greenfield in 1889. I believe she and Gaetano came to Greenfield when the came to the US in the early 1870s, possibly even married there.
Gaetano was a great baritone player and I understood from family lore that he played in a band there, perhaps named Indiana Ramblers??????
ANy information provided would be greatly appreciated!
