We are trying to find the heritage of a gggrandmother, Lydia A. Mullen or Mullins. She was b. about 1850 in Indiana, probably Hendricks Co., and died 10 May 1876 in Brownsburg, Hendricks, IN. She married James R. Owens 5 April 1866 in Marion Co. IN, and they returned to Hendricks Co., where they had 3 children who lived to adulthood (plus their first 2 who apparently died as infants).
I think she is the Lydia Ann Mullen listed in the 1860 census for Hendricks Co. with Robert and Rhachel Mullin (Mullen?). Robert was b.~1808 in NC. Based on nearness in several censuses, I think Robert was a brother to Eli Mullen (wife Rebecca), b.~1805 in NC. It appears that they had a sister, Lydia, b.1822 in NC, who m. Samuel V. Hollingsworth or Hollandsworth. Siblings probably also included William (b. ~1827) and Woodward (b.~1828).
Any information about this family would certainly be appreciated!
