Leonard Eddleman/Edelman/Edleman was born or near Hagerstown Maryland after the Rev. War , went to Greene county,Tn married Charity Bowman. Moved to Harrison county, Ky with children. He went to Rush county, Indiana in 1830 census, living by son Alexander. He applied for his Rev. War Pension there. His wife died in Rush county, Indiana and he went back to Harrison county, Ky by 1840. He is found living with his other son Aaron Eddleman 1840 census. I think he died after that.
His son Leonard Jr. came to Henry county, Indiana as well as his daughter Leonora/Hannah who married Green T. Simpson.

Found Surveyor's Certificates
These certifcates , numbered 1432 to 2095 inclusive were issued between Nov. 1, 1814 to May 1816 in the Sixth District. They are in the Tennessee State Archives at Nashville.
I found this in a book for Greene county Tn , in the Oklahoma Historical Society's Libraby. I have the names from A to E that were issued during this times if someone would like the information. e-mail
