I have organized a DNA project and we have samples of several different lines from PA, VA, IN, MD as well as a couple of known connections to immigrant ancestors. There are several different Swisher families that were in and out of Howard County area that would be great to have included in this project.
A direct line male of the Swisher/Switzer surname is needed. If you are researching any families of this surname but do not know of a directline male, you should consider donating to the support of this project.
