Posted by: Christine Miller (ID *****5473) Date: January 12, 2008 at 17:30:17   of 280 My GGreat Grandmother, Dora McKee Oatzes was deaf and when she died in abt 1902 my GGrandfather, Frank Oatzes, remarried another deaf woman.I thought that this would be quite a coincidence unless there was a deaf school in the area. Does anyone know if there was a deaf school in Howard County or anywhere in the Kokomo area at the turn of the century? I am at a road block and would appreciate any help.
