My maternal great-grandfather, James M. Beatty, died in Huntington. Before he died, he and his wife had a set of twins there, a boy and a girl. The boy died 1 year before his father and the girl died in Elkhart 8 years later. The three of them were buried in People's Cemetery.
On the birth certificates for the twins, the address is listed as 1232 Marshall in the city of Huntington. I can not find that street on a map program. Was the street name changed or was the street taken out? I can not find a database of street name changes and if you could point me in the direction of one, I would greatly appreciate it.
