Hi! I am researching my BRYAN Family and have run into the proverbial 'brick wall' locating the
parents and siblings of my GG Grandmother Matilda
PHILLIPS, b. abt 1812 in KY (?), m. 4 Mar 1830 in
Lawrence Co., IN to my GG Grandfather William
BRYAN, b. 17 Oct 1801 in White Co., TN, the son of James Robison BRYAN and Mary ANDERSON. One
source lists Matilda as the daughter of Samuel
PHILLIPS, b. abt 1778 in KY and d. in Lawrence
Co., IN. I know that my G Grandpa James R. BRYAN
was b. 16 Dec 1833 in Jackson Co., IN and I was
hoping someone there could help me. Any info on
Matilda, her parents and siblings, etc. would be
very much appreciated. I would love to hear from
