Hey Priscilla, It's me again, I'm happy that you respond to my queries and I would just like to add a couple of notes to your file. Charles was Emma's second husband with William being the first. I found evidence of William and Emma's marriage in Buchanan Co. MO Book G pg #12. Nunn was spelled with one n. The date was 22 Apr 1886.
Louis and Lucy had 4 children. The first was Malcolm who died as an infant in 1910. He was followed by Louella born in 1912 and then Robert. Wanda (my Mom) was born in 1938 and died in 2006.
Lucy died with Louis in Mar, 1968 in a tragic car accident in Franklin IN.
Still actively searching for Gauntt info. I believe that I have tied two families together with Louis' stepfather being brother to Lucy's father. They all lived in Jackson county. Found Elsworth and Charles Theopolis Gauntt with their Mother Nancy in 1870 census with name mispelled during transcription as Gaut. Looking at the census I clearly see it as Gant. Also found Charles with parents Nancy and Thomas in 1860 census, same area.
Thanks again for posting. We'll keep hunting.
