Emma Gauntt died July 9, 1941 at the home of her son Louis Nunn in Franklin, Johnson, IN. She was survived by two sons, Louis and his brother C.P. (Claude Pryor) Nunn of Holland MI. Also a brother Dr. George Edward Pennington of NE. Mrs. Maggie Duncan of KS three grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. She was buried at South Park cemetery in Greensburg, Decatur, IN.
Her husband preceeded her in death in Shelbyville, IN. Charles Gauntt was born in Jackson county IN. He was the son of Thomas and Nancy Gauntt. Charles death was on Jan 4, 1933. He was buried at South Park cemetery in Greensburg, IN
Both Emma and Charles were members of Trinity Methodist church in Shelbyville, Shelby, IN
