I am looking for Sarah Harris (Married name)b.abt 1858
Indiana. Died: Atchison, Kansas. The 1930 census she is 72 and living her daughter Mary E.Harris Godding, and her family. ( Bert L Godding 42, Mary E Godding 40, Harris Godding 5,Cathrine E Godding 4,Walter E Godding 1 8/12, Sarah E Harris 73 - in Atchison.) Emma was born in Indiana, as was Sarah.
My Grandmother, Metta Marie Clark Dunbar use to tell her daughter, Jean Dunbar, when Jean was in school that her friend, Catherine Harris's Grandmother, Sarah, was a cousin to Jean's Grandmother, Susan Emma Thompson Clark, (born 1857, Salt Creek, Jackson, Indiana - she died in Kansas. Have not found the connection. ** Need to have name of Sarah's father, or perhaps any of her siblings.**
