I am looking for any information on the Clemens Mark Ott farm which was located in Walker Township near Kniman, Indiana. Clemens Ott a.k.a. Mark Ott is listed on censuses of 1900-1920 and is listed in Chicago before that time managing farms in Lake View. He had about a dozen boarders in Kniman including Joseph Bricker and a few Osborns. These specific boarders eventually married his daughters.
Mark and his wife Mary Wilger raised several Osborn nephews and nieces including Louis (buried in wheatfield) and Hannah a.k.a. Mildred. This Osborn branch, I think, may continue to live in the county.
Mark's daughter Margaret married John Kalb, son of Mike Kalb of Jasper Co., IN. These are my great grandparents.
I have information on brothers of Mark Ott, including Nicholas and John.
If anyone has knowledge of Kniman or wheatfield area before 1920 I would appreciate any help you would have.

P.S. I found Margaret ott and John Kalb in Wheatfield's Sorrowful mother Cemetary. Clemens is buried there, but I was unable to find his plot. I found Louis Osborn in that cemetary also. Clemens' son theodor is there somewhere too, but was unable to locate his grave.
