Hi, I'm not related to any of the lines in your posting but some of my ancestors did live in the same township in Jasper County, IN as some of the folks you mentioned so I looked a bit for info on some of them for you. Elizabeth and William Moore were in Jasper County, Barkley Township, by 1850; their children shown in that census were Nancy 21; John 20; Samuel 18; Sarah 16; Rebecca 11; Thomas 10; Rachel 7; and Allran (?hard to read that name). The first six were born in OH, the last two in Indiana. William Moore is there shown as 57 born Virginia and Elizabeth is 46 born Pennsylvania. William and Elizabeth Moore are buried in Smith Cemetery in Barkley Township in Jasper County, IN. William Moore, died June 7, 1871; aged 79 years, 7 months, 29 days. Elizabeth Moore died September 10, 1854, aged 50 years 2 months 7 days. Samuel Lewis and wife Elizabeth also lived in Barkley Township in 1850 census. They are shown with their children Isaac age 8 born Ohio and George C age 2 months born Indiana. Samuel Lewis is shown there as age 39 born Ohio, Elizabeth is shown as age 38 born Ohio. There is a C. C. Lewis buried in Smith Cemetery who was born April 20, 1810 and died December 2, 1857, 47 years, 7 months, 12 days old. I think that is probably Samuel Lewis and maybe the stone was hard to read. Also buried in Smith Cemetery is Elizabeth Lewis who died August 4, 1878, 66 years, 2 months old. If I find any more info I'll let you know.
